End-of-Project conference
The closing conference for the Project will take place at the Institute of Legal Medicine Iasi on the 21st of December 2016, at 1 PM.
This conference will mark the launching of 2 important documents, working instruments in the field of victim assistance:
The Study on the current legislation on the multiple discrimination of victims based on gender
and
The Manual of good practices for the support of victims of domestic violence by approach of multiple discrimination.

FORUM 6
The 6th Forum of the project will take place at IML Iasi, on 21.12.2016, 11:00 o’clock.
At the meeting are participating experts involved in the project and guests from all key areas that intersect with issues of violence and discrimination: police officers, constabulary, departments to combat domestic violence in the general directorates of social services and child protection, NGOs active in the field, prosecutors, judges, representatives of the probation service, forensic, local authorities, the staff of shelters and counseling centers for victims and perpetrators etc.
Regional training session for doctors from Moldova
Between the 21st and the 22nd of October 2016, The Institute of Legal Medicine Iasi in partnership with the Center of Mediation and Community Security Foundation and the Hedda Foundation from Norway, invite you to participate to the regional training session for medical doctors from the region of Moldova, held within the project “The support of victims of violence by approaching multiple discrimination” (project financed with the financial assistance of the RO10 Program – CORAI, project financed by the SEE 2009-2014 Grants and managed by the Romanian Social Development Fund).
The event will take place at the headquarters of the Institute of Legal Medicine Iasi, starting with the 21st of October 2016, 11:00.

FORUM 2

Training for lawyers – 17-18.06.2016
To successfully develop a joint service in the community to be sustainable, providing legal services pro bono victims of violence from vulnerable groups, the project aims to train 20 lawyers from Moldova region in handling cases of violence against women, with a focus on the family violence and provides internships for work on concrete cases for a number of 8 lawyers. Following training, the lawyers performed analysis and investigation of the case from the multidisciplinary perspective, analysis that were published in a manual of best practices to be disseminated at regional level.
The training session took place from 17th to 18th of June 2016, the Ciric Complex, Iasi.

FORUM 1
The first Forum taking place within the project took place at IML Iasi, on the 30.05.2016, at 12:30.
Among the activities to take place within the project, we will mention monthly forums at which will attend specialists from multi-sectorial teams who work with victims of violence and multiple discrimination.
The forum aims to subject to the participant’s attention new models of preventing violence and multiple discrimination and of approaching this subject from the perspective of multi-institutional activities. Being focused on victims’ protection, the forum will be a place for debating common local solutions and politics.

PROMOTION OF SERVICE PACKAGES
The promotion event for the services within the project took place on Monday, May 30 2016, starting with 12.00 AM at the headquarters of the project – the Institute of Legal Medicine Iasi, 4 Buna Vestire Street, in the conference room.
The event was part of the project “The support of victims of violence by approaching multiple discrimination”, project financed with the financial assistance of the RO10 Program – CORAI, project financed by the SEE 2009-2014 Grants and managed by the Romanian Social Development Fund.

The event took place at Casa Elena Complex in Gura Humorului, Suceava, between 13 and 15 of November 2015. For participating to the first regional training session, you have to fill in a registration form. This form can be downloaded from HERE. Please send the completed form to the e-mail address jitaruvictor@gmail.com by the 2nd of November 2015; the form should be named Instruire_IML_Surname_Name (ex IML_Instruire_Popescu_Andreea). Registrations will be open until all available positions will be filled. The results of the selection process will be sent by 06.11.2015.
Other information:
*accommodation will be provided in double rooms for 2 nights. In case you want a single room, you should make a reservation ahead and pay the cost difference
**As all meals will be provided, we ask to transmit if you have any special dietary requirements (allergies, vegetarian diets, certain conditions that require special diets etc). We will try to accommodate all requests as much as possible.
***The selected participants are asked to participate in all training sessions.
****The selection criteria, in conformity with SEE founds principles and with the project indicators are:
• Gender balance
• Territorial coverage
• Professional diversity
• Organizational diversity
• Participants from areas with high percentage of Roma population will have priority; at least 10 participants from these areas will be selected
• The ability to distribute the information acquired

Monday, September 7th 2015, took place the official event for promoting the project “The support of victims of violence by approaching multiple discrimination”, project financed with the financial assistance of the RO10 Program – CORAI, project financed by the SEE 2009-2014 Grants and managed by the Romanian Social Development Fund.
The project, implemented by the Institute of Legal Medicine Iasi, in partnership with the Center of Mediation and Community Security Foundation, will contribute to the promotion of existing work instruments and the creation of new ones, intended for the professionals who work with victims of multiple discrimination.
